More Than Just A Junior Golfer

I was born on January 15, 2005 in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, and moved to Las Vegas, Nevada when I was 6. As a child, I grew up playing tennis until the age of 11. When I discovered golf, it wasn't a hard decision to pursue my newfound passion. I practiced hard everyday, and started playing tournaments five months later. It has become quite a journey, but I continue to enjoy the process and improve my game as I grow older. Recently, I have gone on to win the Sean Foley Performance World Stars USA Tournament this summer at Paiute Golf Course in Las Vegas, Nevada posting a three day total of 75, 73, 73 (+5).

When asked what keeps me so motivated I simply say, "Golf is such an unpredictable sport. You could go out shooting the round of your life one tournament, and end up on the opposite end of the spectrum the next. It's the challenge of another week. The persistence of trying to play better than I did the last round keeps the fire burning." 

I played varsity high school golf my freshman year, qualifying for state and making the All Southwest League 1st Team. My determination from golf resonates through all aspects of my life, including school. I maintain a 4.0 GPA (4.4 weighted), valuing my academic career just as much as my athletic one. I also love working out to keep my body in optimum shape. In my free time, I enjoy reading, painting, and trying new food. My commitment to the game has created new dreams for me to chase. I hope to play collegiate golf, and one day make it to the LPGA tour. Golf has taught me that being the hardest worker on and off the course and having the right mindset may turn these dreams into reality.
